David G. Schieren, Chairman & CEO
David Schieren brings expertise in clean energy project development, finance, management and alternative energy technologies. David was the Energy Team Leader for the New York Institute of Technology's 2005 US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Project, responsible for overseeing all energy systems and developing the Solar-Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power System. He took a leadership role in fundraising, corporate partnerships, public relations and communications.
David has testified before congress about the solar decathlon, solar energy and hydrogen, and was involved with numerous TV, print, internet, radio and documentary interviews. He holds several photovoltaic system design certificates and is a certified Plug Power Fuel Cell Technician. David formerly served as an Institutional Equity Advisor at Merrill Lynch where he sold Japanese equities to large US based investors.
David is a Seeds of Peace Young Leadership Committee member. Seeds of Peace is an organization that provides tolerance, coexistence and leadership programs to promising teenagers from the middle east and other conflict regions throughout the world.
